Master Bathroom | Evans Georgia Home Renovation | Augusta Georgia Photographer | Chloe Giancola Photography
This was a big one. I would say this comes in second only to our kitchen renovation. So much demo to tackle and we used another bathroom while this one was torn apart and being put back together. Nathaniel and I make design decisions together, something we both like, that will increase the value, and we think whoever lives here after us can appreciate too. I was sold once I saw the wavy tile we chose for the shower, looking like ocean waves and brought light into a darker bathroom. Nathaniel had the good idea to run it to the ceiling and I wanted to run it on the wall outside the shower all the same length. We’ve done gold fixtures throughout the downstairs bathroom and kitchen, so that was an easy choice, but I wanted the lighting to not be too traditional or farmhouse. Something fun with a modern touch and Nathaniel found the perfect one! I wanted to do black for the lights above the sink to contrast the gold and I loved how it looked against the wooden frame mirrors. Nathaniel found this amazing wood looking tile for the shower floor, and I knew I wanted to do some exciting pattern with it. We were originally thinking herringbone, but once I saw where the cuts had to be for the drain it did not look right. So Davin and us came up with something completely different that I love even more! We called it the spider web I think lol.
We got the majority of this bathroom renovation done before my nausea kicked in from pregnancy! We have been enjoying it so much and we are so glad we did it to enjoy ourselves and leave this house better than we found it!
