Sharing our outdoor patio on the blog today! It’s easily become one of our favorite places for dinner with the kids running around in the backyard after. When we first moved in, there was just a small square back there with no covering and got a lot of sun during the day and it also need gutters which we added. We knew we would remove that shed falling apart too and replace it with a swingset. Nathaniel had the great idea to make it a good bit bigger and we had fresh concrete poured to extend the space. I happened to see a wedding planner selling this arch on Instagram one day and immediately knew I wanted to include it on the patio with string lights and change up the decor on it through the seasons. We took these photos around Christmas last year so you can imagine how cozy our little fire and lights are back there as the weather cools down in the evening!
