Aiken Photographer | Royal Caribbean Mediterranean Cruise | Mykonos Wedding Photographer

Last fall Nathaniel and I went on one of the best trips we have ever been on, I'm daydreaming about Greece and Italy all over again as I type this! There was only one time the whole year it would work to take two weeks off in between his work schedule, my wedding schedule, and before the third trimester when I couldn't fly anymore so we booked our dream trip for September to Italy, Greece, and Turkey on a Royal Caribbean cruise!

My dream of going to Greece began back in college when I printed a photo of Santorini, and always hoped I could go one day and take a photo myself to hang in our home! And of course as much as I love photos, our house is filled with canvases now from this trip! I was six months pregnant when we went, and we had just found out right before that Baby Giancola was a girl! It was such a neat experience seeing all these amazing places, carrying our sweet Kinsley the whole time!

We visited Rome, Athens, Ephesus, Chania, Santorini, Mykonos, Pompeii, and the Amalfi Coast. If we had to pick favorites, Nathaniel and I both agree that we had the best meal ever while we visited the Amalfi Coast, and those colorful houses built into the cliff by the sea are like a dream! Such a breathtaking place! Santorini is definitely well known for a reason, the beauty of all the blue and white meeting the ocean, and I got my photo! Finally Mykonos, my overall favorite! The cutest cafes by the water, good shopping, a smaller town feel, and endless alleys of white with colorful doors and windows. But one moment I will never forget is when we were walking by a church and there in front of us was a real bride and groom! Of course I stayed back and out of their photographer's way, but I had to take a couple photos! Running into a bride in Greece, and taking a couple photos, was a DREAM for this wedding photographer!

Everything about this trip exceeded my expectations, and best of all it was the perfect babymoon for us before our precious girl's arrival! So I'm finally sharing some highlight photos, hope you enjoy! And if you're thinking of taking a trip and/or visiting these places, you should totally DO IT! :)
